Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star pacer Harshit Rana, returning after serving a one-match ban, tries to stop himself from not celebrating the wicket of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper KL Rahul in the 54th match of the IPL 2024 at the Ekana Stadium.

The incident occurred in the 8th over, with KKR setting a daunting total of 236 for the home team to chase. KL Rahul, leading from the front, faces a good length delivery from the KKR pacer clocked at 144.1 kmph. He attempts a big shot but only manages to find Ramandeep Singh at deep cover.

Ramandeep Singh's exceptional fielding sees him taking his 2nd wicket, sending off the LSG skipper. Singh takes a straightforward catch with a reverse cup grip. 

Rana, aware of his past disciplinary issues, including fines and a one-match ban from the BCCI, refrains from extravagant celebrations and instead makes a 'finger on the lip' gesture.

At the time of writing, KL Rahul & Co. find themselves reeling at 93 for 4 in 10 overs, with Ayush Badhoni and Nicholas Pooran at the crease, 7* and 7* respectively.
