In the match between CSK and RCB at the Chepauk Stadium, RCB have registered their first win at Chepauk for the first time in 13 years. The Challengers, batting first, put 196 runs on the board.
In reply, CSK only managed to put 146 runs on the board. It was a horror show with the bat but still, the CSK fans were happy as they got to see glimpses of MS Dhoni. Notably, for a change, Dhoni walked to bat at No.9 when CSK had lost seven wickets.
The Chepauk Stadium, which had gone numb, erupted in chants as their favourite star walked to bat. Meanwhile, the decible meter also crossed 120 and the Anbuden was nearly inaudible because of the loud noise. Watch Dhoni's entry.
MS Dhoni Makes Fans' Day With His Powerhitting
While CSK suffered their first defeat of the season, the fans were happy as they got to see Dhoni bat. Notably, MS came to bat in the 17th over of the match and then he whacked Krunal Pandya for runs in the final over of the match.
Dhoni slammed Pandya for two sixes and a four in the last over of the match to make fans dance out of joy.
