New Zealand registered a comfortable win over Bangladesh the ongoing T20 Tri-nation series. For the home side, it was Glenn Phillips, Devon Conway, and Adam Milne who stood out, while for Bangladesh, it was their skipper Shakib Al Hasan, who provided some resistance in his side's 48-run loss.

Chasing 209 to win, Bangladesh were off to a decent start with openers Najmul Shanto and Litton Das adding 24 runs in the first few overs.
Adam Milne struck first blood for the hosts, rattling Shanto's stumps for 11. Bangla Tigers' most reliable batter in the past two years, Das followed his partner soon after, falling to Michael Bracewell for 23.
Shakib and Soumya Sarkar joined forces in the middle. Sarkar was lucky to survive on 7 after Conway dropped a catch off Ish Sodhi's bowling.
The pair added 43 runs in quick time before Sarkar fell to Milne for 23. Bracewell cleaned up Afif Hossain, with the visitors reeling at 100 for 4.
Meanwhile, on the other end, skipper Shakib registered his 11th T20 fifty, keeping his side in play. His innings came to an end on 70, attempting a cut-shot by Tim Southee.
Mosaddek Hossain and Mohammad Saifuddin remained unbeaten on 88 and 3*, respectively, as Bangladesh finished their innings on 160 for 7, losing the match by 48 runs.
Milne was the pick of the bowlers, claiming three wickets, while Southee and Bracewell snapped two-each.

Ebadot Hossain got the better of Guptill, nabbing him for a 27-ball 34.
Phillips, who came in for skipper Kane Williamson, ran havoc in the final overs, racing to his sixth T20I fifty. The youngster slammed 17 runs in the penultimate over to bring up his 50 off 19 balls.
His knock included five sixes and two fours before he became Hossain's second victim.
