After securing a narrow three-wicket win in the first T20I in Centurion, West Indies will lock horns with hosts South Africa in the second game of the three-match series today. While the Men in Maroon will look to seal the series by winning the fixture, the Proteas will give it their all to restore parity and stay alive in the series.

The first match, affected by rain, witnessed runs being scored at a rapid pace by batters from both sides.

Speaking of South Africa, the hosts, despite an early collapse, posted a challenging 131-run total in their allotted 11 overs, thanks to David Miller's breathtaking 22-ball 48. However, the veteran finisher's valiant efforts went in vain, as skipper Rovman Powell held his nerves to script a thrilling win for the visitors in the final over.

So, moving on to this do-or-die clash, South Africa would like better returns from their top-order, especially Quinton de Kock and Rilee Rossouw. Meanwhile, West Indies would seek slight improvement from their bowlers, who leaked runs at a miserable economy in the death overs.

Pitch Report: The surface in Centurion will be batting-friendly, promising the encounter to be high-scoring. However, the track will have some spongy bounce, which the pacers from both sides will try to exploit. As the surface will behave similarly across both innings, the toss-winner will likely opt to chase.
