The Gujarat Titans showed their prowess and thumped the Lucknow Super Giants by 56 runs to strengthen their position at the top of the table.

A clinical batting performance, led by Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill, was followed up by some brilliant bowling as the LSG side, led by Krunal Pandya had no answer to the GT skillset.

After the match, the Titans' skipper, Hardik Pandya shed light on a convincing win, and talked about the bond with his brother, Krunal.

"I can't take anything better from the boys and two matches in two days great job. That catch by Rashid Khan changed it and we squeezed them. They had to chase the game before that we were chasing the game. We both were riding at 100 km/hr and were under pressure. The speed bump has affected them and we won. Good to get these pressure games going forward."

He further stated that there is no bragging rights between the two brothers, despite them being on the opposite side this time.

"There will be no bragging rights between me and Krunal. I think it was tighter then it may have been. But my love for Krunal is too much. No bragging. Happy that he is captain and we are happy that we got the win in the end."

With this thumping win, GT are at 16 points, with 8 wins under their belt. Meanwhile, LSG are still in the playoffs race. They are at the third position with 11 points.
