Bangladesh won the toss and their stand-in captain, Jaker Ali elected to bowl first on a surface that assists the spinners but tends to get better as the game progresses. Litton Das, the regular captain misses out due to a back injury as the Tigers have made numerous changes.
On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav stated that India will go in with the same playing XI that defeated Pakistan.
