After a rain-affected first ODI between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan at Harare Sports Club, both teams will lock horns in the second match on Thursday, December 19. The opening game of the three-match series was abandoned due to persistent rain and a wet outfield, with the match eventually reduced to just 28 overs before it was called off.

The rain played spoilsport on December 17, preventing the much-anticipated clash from going ahead as scheduled. With the weather conditions proving to be a hindrance, both Zimbabwe and Afghanistan will now turn their attention to the second ODI, where both teams will be looking to make amends and take the upper hand in the series.

In the 1st ODI, Zimbabwe’s top-order collapse was clearly evident, Ben Curran, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Brian Bennett, Dion Myers, and Sean Williams all fell cheaply, that left Zimbabwe’s batting line-up in shambles at 44/5 in just 9.2 overs.

As both the sides gear up for this second ODI match, let's take a look at the weather conditions.
