Rangpur Riders will square off against Chattogram Challengers in the 40th match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Wednesday at Shere Bangla Stadium.

The Riders had an unsteady first half of the tournament, winning only two of their first five games, but managed to peak at the right time, winning each of their next five games. As a result, they are currently sitting comfortably in the top four, with seven wins in ten games. They are currently coming on the back off a win against the table toppers, Sylhet Strikers and will be keen to continue the winning momentum right through to the knockouts.

Meanwhile, Chattogram Challengers’ campaign will come to an end with this match. The Chattogram based franchise had a terrible second half of the tournament, losing six games in a row. However, they managed to break their losing streak in their last fixture against Dhaka Dominators and will be hoping to win this game as well to finish the tournament on a high.
