Featuring Rohit Sharma, his wife Ritika Sajdeh, and Allu Arjun’s brother Allu Sirish, the moment blended humour, stardom and mutual respect across two massive fan bases.

South cinema superstar Allu Arjun recently shared an Instagram story that quickly went viral, delighting fans of both films and cricket circle. The story featured an advertisement video starring Indian cricket veteran Rohit Sharma alongside his wife Ritika Sajdeh and Allu Arjun’s brother, Allu Sirish.

Arjun was thrilled to see his brother in the video and praised him, turning a simple social media share into a special moment for fans. By posting it on his Instagram story with the caption mentioning Indian cricket's star Rohit, he bridged cinema and cricket, sparking conversations and making the ad go viral.

“What a pleasant surprise..wow. Siri [Allu Sirish], so happy and proud of you. Congratulations to everyone on this and my special respect for Rohit Garu,” Allu Arjun wrote in his Instagram story.

Coming to the ad, it was made for Axis Max Life Insurance, and was designed as a light-hearted and humorous outing. In the video, Allu Sirish is seen trying to impress Ritika Sajdeh by explaining how risky and dangerous action moves can be during film shoots.

Just as Sirish was describing the physical demands and all kinds of dangers actors face while performing stunts, Rohit steps in and flips the narrative with his trademark wit. Comparing action scenes to real-life cricketing challenges, Rohit explains how facing a fast bouncer is far more threatening.

He jokingly adds that a single bouncer can be “game over” [for life] leading to a sharp, angry stare from wife Ritika. Rohit’s quick comeback, assuring her that he has the pull shot in his book, adds to the humour, perfectly capturing the fun tone while subtly highlighting the importance of life insurance.
