YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, better known as BeerBiceps, has been through the kind of rough patch that can rattle anyone. The popular podcast faced massive backlash and legal trouble after a controversial question on comedian Samay Raina’s show India's Got Latent.

The remarks were slammed as “disgusting” and “obscene” by the Supreme Court, sparking outrage across social media. Allahbadia later issued a public apology, but the storm didn’t settle quickly. Death threats followed and the pressure was extreme. For someone constantly in the public eye, it was a bouncer that hit him flush.
Speaking during a podcast with singer Anuv Jain on his YouTube channel, Ranveer revealed how two cricketers stepped up when he needed it most: Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya.
“Both Hardik & Krunal helped me a lot in this phase – I was talking to Hardik yesterday, I told ‘Hey man, times are getting better’ – he told ‘Good, because times will get worse again, therefore just focus on process’,” Ranveer recalled.
The advice wasn’t sugar-coated and that is what made it stick.
“He has seen one downfall in his life & he thought that’s it… then he had the full booing situation last year – then he won the T20I World Cup for India – he told, just focus on the hard work & skills, none of the noise matters, good or bad, doesn’t matter.”
Hardik Pandya knows a thing or two about riding the rollercoaster of public opinion. From injury setbacks and fierce criticism to helping India to a T20 World Cup win in 2024 and playing a starring role in the 2025 Champions Trophy, his career has been a lesson in character in spirit.
Krunal Pandya, too, has had his share of ups and downs, quietly creating a reputation as a team man on and off the field. For Ranveer, that kind of guidance from the Pandya brothers during his lowest point was priceless.
Hardik’s Own Test Coming Up
While his advice has clearly left a mark off the pitch, Hardik himself is gearing up for a crucial moment. His place in the India squad for the Asia Cup 2025 will depend on a fitness assessment at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
If he clears it, the 31-year-old all-rounder will almost certainly be part of the squad for the tournament starting September 9.
For now, one thing’s certain: whether it is a teammate, a friend or someone outside cricket, the Pandya brothers know how to stand in the crease when someone needs a partner at the other end.
