Former Indian legendary cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been one of the fan favourites among the masses, even five years after his international retirement. Currently, the former Indian player is a key member of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) side in the Indian Premier League (IPL), as his love for his bikes and cars, along with the Indian Army, remains unaltered.
MS Dhoni Seen Roaming Around In His Modified Hummer
MS Dhoni has hit many sixes out of the park against some of the top-quality bowlers, not just in his prime but even after a long period after he retired from international cricket. Dhoni's aura on the field is unmatched, and off the field, his personal life remains private. However, sometimes, even Dhoni's life becomes public.
In a recent video that has gone viral on social media, posted by a user, Dhoni was seen driving around in his modified Hummer in the streets of Ranchi. The video, which has already garnered more than 3 lakh views, is circulating on social media among the ardent Dhoni followers.
The video shows Dhoni driving around in his Hummer, which costs around ₹1 crore, and some models go upward of ₹1.5 crore in India. Dhoni, who is an admirer of both the Indian Army and his cars and bikes, has done a great deal of work on his Hummer.
The car's number plate, which reads JH01AB7781, can be clearly seen in the video. As the car is reportedly from the year 2009, has now been completely modified from the outside with a camouflage look as a tribute to the Indian Army and special forces, which Dhoni treasures a lot. The car has been designed with a makeover, giving it a dashing look as Dhoni is seen driving with the car having tinted glasses.
Dhoni's Special Love For The Indian Army
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who was awarded the honorary Lieutenant Colonel rank in the Territorial Army back in the year 2011, has also trained with his para forces and has even completed a part of the training, which includes parachute jumps for army training.
Later, he gave tribute to the Indian Army with a special Balidan badge, which is the special emblem of the para special forces, on his glove during the 2019 ICC World Cup. The ICC had to ask Dhoni to remove it from his gloves as they do not permit any defence symbols.
Talking about his cars, Dhoni has a huge fleet of some luxurious cars, not just from India, but from all around the world, which includes Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, Audi Q7, Hummer H2, and some customised models in Mahindra Scorpio.
