This evening, Delhi Capitals (DC) will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in match number 32 of the ongoing IPL 2025 season. The much-anticipated encounter will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. 

Is Faf du Plessis Available For DC vs RR IPL 2025 Match?

South Africa's legendary batter and former captain Faf du Plessis didn't participate in DC's previous match against MI, as he couldn't recover from the injury he sustained before the high-octane clash against Chennai Super Kings. 

Although the Capitals haven't provided an official update on Faf du Plessis, Cricbuzz, in its preview, has mentioned that the veteran opener is still recovering and might miss the game against RR this evening. 

It also states that Jake Fraser-McGurk will likely get an extended rope to prove his mettle, with du Plessis's rehabilitation taking longer time than expected. 

Furthermore, Du Plessis couldn't be seen in the Capitals' practice session video, which they uploaded on their social media handle this morning. 

So, it won't be surprising if Faf du Plessis doesn't play the game against RR tonight.
