In a truly heartwarming gesture, the fan army of England, known as the 'Barmy Army, extended a warm welcome to Pakistan's fast bowler, Shaheen Afridi, as he arrived at Edgbaston to witness the ongoing first Test between England and Australia.
In a viral video making rounds on social media, a member of the Barmy Army stole the spotlight by playing the notes of "Dil Dil Pakistan" on a trumpet, captivating the entire crowd present there, including Shaheen Afridi himself, who seemed to be immersed in the infectious atmosphere.
To further convey their admiration and respect, the Barmy Army supporter chanted "Pakistan Zindabad" (Long Live Pakistan) multiple times in the presence of Shaheen Afridi.
The young Pakistan pacer also appreciated this heartfelt gesture, clapping appreciatively while extending a handshake to acknowledge the efforts of the fans.

The Pakistan pacer is currently in England, representing Nottinghamshire in the ongoing edition of the T20 Blast.
