The Welsh Fire have reached such a position that the only thing that can even give them a long shot at the Playoffs qualification, is nothing but victories in their last two games. While they play their last away game at Southampton against the Southern Brave, they will have an easier challenge in London Spirit back at home, who have also had a similar fate this season with only three points from six games.
However, to even think about that encounter, the likes of Ben Duckett, James Neesham and Glenn Philipps would have to bring their ‘A’ game out on the table. Having lost their last four games on a trot, it is not going to be an easy task, but it isn’t impossible either.
Their competitors though have had a revival of some sort as they have managed to win their last three games, having lost the first two and are now vying for a top of the league finish to get a ticket to the finale. Thus it is going to be interesting to see how two teams on different sides of the spectrum treat this all-important game at the Bowl.

The wicket at Southampton has generally supported good cricket and even in the two Hundred games that have taken place here, they have been high scoring and a true pitch with something in it for everyone has been on offer. It looks like going the same way for the last two games as well.
There is no forecast of rain and the temperatures will remain in the higher 10s with windspeed around 9-12 kph and thus it might be chilly at the Bowl, but won’t stop people from enjoying a night of The Hundred.
