T20 World Cup | IND vs PAK: Twitterati react after records go for a toss following Pakistan's 10-wicket win

Records just went for a toss on Sunday evening when Pakistan thumped India by 10 wickets in a World Cup fixture, chasing down a target of 152 in less than 18 overs.

Wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan and captain Babar Azam took on the onus on themselves and anchored the side to an emphatic win. While Rizwan remained unbeaten at 79 off 55, Babar was not out on 68 off 52 during the course.

Earlier, in the day, the Indian batting unit had a tough time after they were reduced to 31/3 in the sixth over with the likes of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav back in the hut.

But captain Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant tried to steady the ship for the side as the two batters chipped in with 53 runs for the fourth wicket before Pant was out for 39 by Shadab Khan. Kohli went on to notch up a half-century to help India put 151/7 in 20 overs on the board.

Pakistan will next play New Zealand on Tuesday (October 26, 2021) in Sharjah while India will be up against the Blackcaps on October 31 in Dubai.
