T20 Blast 2022 |GLO vs GLA | Preview, Prediction, Probable XI, CREX XI

Gloucestershire will lock horns with Glamorgan in Match 82 of T20 Blast 2022 at County Ground, Bristol on June 18 (Saturday).

Gloucestershire have four wins in nine games this season. In their last league match, the bowlers were mediocre and they went on to concede 184 runs, with the pick of the bowlers being Mohammad Amir and Benny Howell returning with two wickets each. Then Ryan Higgins (43), Howell ( 42), and James Bracey (30) put on a fight with the bat but the team lost by 7 runs.

The team is expected to include experienced Chris Dent in the XI, who is said to have recovered from the injury. The Gloucs need a couple of wins to rebuild their momentum, and both sides will have to strive hard to do better in this fixture.

Glamorgan have just two victories in eight appearances, and will have to win the remaining games to reach the quarter-finals. In their last outing a week ago, they were impressive in restricting the opposition to 134, with Andrew Salter finishing with 2/18 in four overs. In reply, Sam Northeast was the top scorer with 36 off 40 balls, as they lost by nine runs.

Ahead of this fixture, Hogan is declared fit and will bolster the bowling attack. Alex Horton is expected to replace Chris Cooke, who is ruled out of the tournament. The likes of Tom Bevan and Jamie McIlroy have been added to the squad.
