Glamorgan will lock horns with Sussex in Match 87 of T20 Blast 2022 at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff on June 19 (Sunday). 

Glamorgan have tasted success in only two out of their nine league matches, with the last one being a wash out. On June 10, they faced Hampshire and restricted them to a score of 134, with Andrew Salter picking two wickets. However, most of the batters did not respond well, and Sam Northeast’s impressive contribution of 36 off 40 could not win the game for the team. 

Young players like Tom Bevan and Jamie McIlroy have retained their places in the squad. On the other hand, Micheal Hogan is fit and Alex Horton is all set to play this game The all-rounders like Dan Douthwaite and Michael Neser will hold the key for them to win this game.

On the other hand, Sussex have been average as well. They have managed to garner just three wins from nine outings. The last outing saw them concede 244 against Essex, with Steven Finn and Tymal Mills picking up two wickets each. Mohammad Rizwan was terrific with his knock of 66 off 32, while Alsop, Bopara, and Orr were impressive as well with their hefty contributions.  

But, Sussex fell short of the winning total by 13 runs and they will look to particularly improve their bowling performance in order to remain in the hunt for the quarter-finals. Players like Rashid Khan and Luke Wright will need to be at their best in order to help secure a much-needed victory for the team.
