The 26-year-old cricketer and his wife, Romana Zahoor, were blessed with a baby boy on Monday, October 21, bringing in double celebrations for the Mumbai batter, who recently scored his maiden Test century in the first IND vs NZ Test at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The joyous news of Sarfaraz Khan's baby boy comes just two days after his sensational 150 off 195 balls against New Zealand, which earned him praise from the cricketing fraternity. While India fell short in the Test, Sarfaraz's sensational knock proved that when the going gets tough, the tough get going. The right-hander's century was decorated with 18 boundaries and three sixes, showcasing his knack for delivering in high-stakes moments.

An overjoyed Sarfaraz took to Instagram to announce the arrival of his baby boy. He shared two heartwarming pictures—one featuring himself holding the newborn and another with his father, Naushad Khan, cradling his grandson.

The elated father captioned the first photo with a simple, “It’s a baby boy,” while his father Naushad celebrated becoming a grandfather by sharing another picture of the new member with Sarfaraz. The arrival of the baby has also turned Sarfaraz’s younger brother, Musheer Khan, into a proud uncle.
