The 12th match of the Pakistan Super League that was scheduled to be played between Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators on Monday, 1 March, has been shifted to tomorrow (2nd March). The game will now be played at 7:30 pm IST on the same venue.
The development comes after Fawad Ahmed, the Australian cricketer playing for Islamabad United in the PSL has tested positive for Covid-19. This comes after the initial positive case which was detected just one day ahead of the start of the league. The official Twitter handle of the PSL released this information.
“A player from one of the sides featuring in this evening’s #HBLPSL6 match has tested positive. The player had shown symptoms two days ago & had been immediately isolated,” PSL tweeted.
Later, Islamabad United also confirmed this news via a tweet.
