In a significant development, Punjab Kings have won the toss and elected to bowl first in their thirteenth group-stage encounter against Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala. The hosts have brought ace South African speedster Kagiso Rabada and Atharva Taide back into their playing XI in place of Sikandar Raza and Rishi Dhawan, respectively. Meanwhile, the Capitals have replaced Mitchell Marsh and Praveen Dubey with Anrich Nortje and Prithvi Shaw, respectively.

At toss, PBKS captain Shikhar Dhawan urged his troops to stay calm and keep the basics right.

"We will bowl first. It's a new track. So, just wanna see how it goes. Yeah, of course, destiny is in our hands. Just want to go out and enjoy this evening. Let's see how it goes. The message to the boys is to stay calm and focus on the process. We have two changes. Kagiso Rabada replaces Sikandar Raza and Atharva Taide comes in place of Rishi Dhawan."

Meanwhile, DC skipper David Warner revealed that they would've bowled first as well, considering the track will get better to bat later in the evening.

"We would have bowled first as well. There is also some dew on the outfield. The wicket won't change much throughout the game. Just another game of cricket. In front of the crowd and what a spectacular view here. We have a couple of changes. Marsh is out and Anrich Nortje is back. Also, Shaw comes in place of Praveen Dubey."
