NED vs NZ | New Zealand and Netherlands agree to prepone 2nd T20I

New Zealand, who are currently on their European tour, have agreed with the Netherlands to prepone the second T20I of their two-match series to August 5.

According to ESPNcricinfo, both boards made this decision due to the New Zealand cricket team's connecting flight being canceled, which affected their travel to the West Indies.

New Zealand are scheduled to play three T20Is and 3 One-Day Internationals from August 10 in the Caribbean. The Black Caps will now play back-to-back games against the Dutch side on August 4 and 5, respectively.

European Schedule so far

The Kiwis, who started their month-long European tour, are currently engaged in a T20I series against hosts Ireland. Both teams earlier played out a thrilling ODI series, in which the visitors won 3-0.

New Zealand’s visit began with their 3-match Test series against England, which they lost.

After completing the Irish leg, New Zealand will fly off to Scotland to feature in a 2-match T20I series and a solitary ODI.

They will then travel over to the Netherlands.

Who played, who left

The likes of Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, Tim Southee, and Devon Conway, who featured in the Test series, have been rested for the white-ball series against Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands.

Tom Latham, Henry Nicholls, and Jacob Duffy returned home after finishing the ODIs against Ireland.
