The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to be a season of redemption for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as they aim to claim their second IPL title. After a heartbreaking near-miss in IPL 2024, the one-time champions will be eager to go the distance this time. 

SRH will begin their campaign on March 23, 2025, as they lock horns against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. While every game in IPL is a thriller, certain matchups tend to grab the most attention due to rivalries, history, and star power. Here are three SRH matches in IPL 2025 that are expected to draw massive viewership.

A showdown between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians always guarantees fireworks. So when SRH will lock horns against MI on April 23 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, the match is expected to grab a good amount of viewership. 

While MI remains the most successful IPL franchise, SRH has built a reputation as one of the most consistent teams in recent seasons.  In IPL 2024, SRH stunned MI with a record-breaking total of 277/3 at the same venue. Fans will be eager to see if they can replicate that dominant performance. So it is likely expected that this match could draw and break viewership records.

Another match that can likely gain a huge viewership is when SRH will host RR on March 23, at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. SRH’s season opener against Rajasthan Royals will be one of the most anticipated matches of the tournament.

The clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is always a high-voltage encounter. With Chinnaswamy Stadium known for its electrifying atmosphere, this fixture between SRH and RCB on May 13 is set to be a viewership magnet.  

The two teams have one of the most exciting rivalries, with SRH famously defeating RCB in the IPL 2016 final to win their maiden title. With players like Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, and Phil Salt on RCB's side and SRH’s explosive batting unit led by Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, fans can expect a run-fest at Chinnaswamy.
