Defending IPL champions Gujarat Titans have decided to trade Afghanistan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz and New Zealand pacer Lockie Ferguson to Kolkata Knight Riders ahead of the IPL retentions on November 15.
Ferguson, a former Knight Rider will reunite with his franchise whereas Gurbaz came in as a replacement for English opener Jason Roy who pulled out due to personal reasons.
The Kiwi pacer was part of the successful Gujarat Titans campaign where he scalped 12 wickets in 13 matches including a fifer.
This is the second trade ahead of next season with Jason Behrendorff being the first one to be transferred to Mumbai Indians from Royal Challengers Bangalore.
