IPL 2022 | KKR vs RR | Fantasy Tips

The Kolkata Knight Riders have been struggling to find their footing in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. However, the team will have the chance to make a comeback as they face Rajasthan Royals tonight in 'Match 30' at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.

The batting-friendly pitches at Brabourne are bound to generate a big score tonight as both sides pack a firm batting order that has the calibre to post a massive total on the board.

After some meticulous planning and consideration, we have prepared a list of names that could give you significant benefits in the fantasy contests tonight.

The General: You just can't miss out on these big names

Jos Buttler (Rajasthan Royals)

The English wicket-keeper batter has been in subliminal form in the ongoing season of the tournament, with 272 runs to his name. Buttler is on top of the standings of the Aramco Orange Cap.

Buttler has the ability to score runs at a staggering pace, which could provide you with some huge benefits if you have the player in your fantasy lineup.

Andre Russell (Kolkata Knight Riders)

While people might say that Andre Russell is well past his prime, the big man from West Indies can single-handedly turn the game's tide with his ability with the bat. Russel has already scored 179 runs for his side so far and could be a massive boost to any side.

The Inevitable: Hard to ignore names

Shimron Hetmyer (Rajasthan Royals)

While the Hetmyer is yet to display while he is amongst the most fearsome batters in the shortest format of the game, the batter has provided us with some glimpses of his ability scoring 197 runs for his side, which is enough to put him in your fantasy lineup if you don't want to miss out on some guaranteed returns.

Yuzvendra Chahal (Rajasthan Royals)

Chahal has been one of the prime reasons for Rajasthan's success this season. The spinner has already picked up twelve wickets in his five appearances and is leading the list for the Aramco Purple Cap.

Chahal has been vastly supported by Ravichandran Ashwin, allowing him to pick up wickets at will. As a result, Chahal is a must pick amongst the bowling options in your fantasy lineup.

The Double Dealer: Double the risk, Double the rewards

Umesh Yadav (Kolkata Knight Riders)

The experienced quick was breathing fire in the early half of the tournament with the new ball. However, it looks like the shine is slowly fading away as Umesh has been unable to keep his consistency with the ball in the past few games.

With just two wickets to his name in the last three games, Umesh could be a risky pick tonight. However, the bowler is among the top five wicket-takers this season, with ten wickets to his name, so it might be a little early to count him out.

Sanju Samson (Rajasthan Royals)

This name might come off as a surprise to many, but Sanju Samson is amongst the most underrated players due to his own reasons. The RR skipper has failed to live up to the limelight on various occasions, but the batter has shown some glimpses in the tournament so far and will be hungry to score a commendable score tonight.

The Stable Beast: Consistent Players who can give maximum returns on their day

Sunil Narine (Kolkata Knight Riders)

Sunil Narine has been a cornerstone for the Knight Riders ever since his addition to the squad. The veteran will make his 150th appearance for the franchise tonight and will look to make some waves with a memorable performance.

Narine is yet to make a significant impact on the results for the Knight Riders, but he has been economically astute so far, spending just five runs per over.

Prasidh Krishna (Rajasthan Royals)

Krishna has been spearheading the RR pace unit alongside Trent Boult this season. The young quick has been commendable with his economic rate, spending just 8.2 runs per over.

However, with the clouds of uncertainty over Boult's inclusion in the playing eleven, Krishna could be your go-to man tonight.

While the bowler will not give you those vast returns, he is one of the most thoughtful picks amongst the pool of bowlers tonight.

The Shooting Star: Young names looking to make an impact

Venkatesh Iyer (Kolkata Knight Riders)

Venkatesh was one of the heroes for the Knight Riders last season as the team made their way to the finals. However, the player hasn't lived up to the expectations this season.

The youngster has scored just 103 runs in his six appearances for his franchise so far and will be looking for an opportunity to make a statement.

Devdutt Padikkal (Rajasthan Royals)

Devdutt finds himself on the list for the very same reasons. The stylish left-handed batter had a commendable season for the Royal Challengers Bangalore last season but has failed to leave his imprint with his new franchise.

While the player was batting down the order in the first half of the contest, he has been promoted to the top of the order, where he belongs. Padikkal has played some decent knocks so far but is still looking for the big statement.

The Tide Turner: Superstars out of form

Varun Chakravarty (Kolkata Knight Riders)

Since last season, the young mystery spinner has been struggling to find his touch. The bowler has been hit all across the park this season and has picked up just four wickets so far in the tournament. While Varun could be a risky pick with his economy rate of 8.30, the bowler just needs one good day to cripple any batting order.

Nitish Rana (Kolkata Knight Riders)

Nitish Rana finds himself in the tide turner category tonight after his 54 runs knock against Delhi Capitals in his previous outing. The batter has been struggling for form and is still to justify the enormous price tag of INR 8 crores.

The player will surely love the batting-friendly pitches of Brabourne, but faring against the likes of Chahal, Ashwin and P Krishna, it's tough to fancy his odds.
