Untamed: These players will be the highest point fetchers on most of the days.

Umesh Yadav: The Umesh Express has rejuvenated itself in IPL 2022. He has already picked up eight wickets in the three matches the seamer has played in the three games the seamer has already picked up 8 wickets. The man looks on a mission to eradicate all the top orders that comes in his way.

Umesh vs Mumbai Indians

Umesh Yadav has bowled 48 overs to MumbaiHe has given away 417 runs in them at an economy rate of 8.60. However, he has been able to pick up 14 wickets in them. The strike rate against MI is 20.8, meaning in a spell of 4 overs, at least 1 wicket can be expected from him. But in the kind of form he is in, he may end up with plenty more than just one wicket. His form makes him the most important pick for the day.

Ishan Kishan: The INR 15.25 cr spent is paying a huge dividend for Mumbai. The little southpaw has looked in fine touch in the two matches in IPL 2022, and it seems like Kishan will be the most crucial piece in MI’s batting puzzle moving forward.

IPL 2022: Kishan has scored 135 runs off 91 deliveries he has faced thus far in the tournament. His strike rate for the tournament of 148.35 says it all about the batter’s great striking form.

Ishan Kishan vs KKR

The left-hander has faced 48 deliveries against KKR and has scored 81 runs off it. His strike rate against KKR is 168.75. Thus, stats suggest that he will be striking it well against KKR. His current form and the record against KKR make him a hot pick for the day.

Jasprit Bumrah: When all other bowlers from his team were being thrashed apart in the last match, it was Bumrah who was only looking potent. He bowled four overs, picked up 3 wickets, and just conceded 17 runs. After a pretty ordinary first match in the tournament, Bumrah’s form is back. The type of form he has hit makes him a must-pick for the day.

Shilly Shally: These are players whose forms keep fluctuating; hence expecting good returns from them every day can be risky.

Rohit Sharma: Rohit Sharma is arguably the best white-ball player in the world at the moment. His form in the tournament is blowing hot and cold. The fans will hope that he soon capitalizes on his starts and makes it big.

IPL 2022: So far, Rohit has scored 51 runs off 37 deliveries in the tournament. His strike rate is 154.05 in the tournament, but his average is just 25.5, way below the expectations of Rohit Sharma.

Rohit Sharma vs KKR

The MI skipper has scored 1015 runs against KKR at a strike rate of 132.16 in 29 matches, which states that he loves KKR’s bowling. However, the issue with his form till now in the tournament might be solved today, and there are chances that he will score big against KKR. Therefore, taking his record against KKR and his from in the tournament, he will be a pick involving a bot of risk for the day.

Tymal Mills: In the absence of Jofra Archer, Mills has been the partner for Bumrah in the bowling department of MI. In the tournament so far, he has done a decent job.

IPL 2022: Tymal Mills has bowled seven overs in the tournament. He has conceded 61 runs in these seven overs, picking up 4 wickets. His strike rate in the tournament is outstanding so far (10.5). But his previous record in IPL shows that he has an economy of 8.91 in the death overs, which goes against him. Though his current form is decent, his overall IPL record makes him a risky pick for the day.

Andre Russell: In the match against Punjab, Russell scored 70 runs off just 31 deliveries. He has hit the much-desired form, that the fans were hoping for. KKR will hope that he continues with what he has found and wreaks havoc on the MI bowlers.

Andre Russell vs MI

Andre Russell has a strike rate of 144.09 against MI, but his Runs Per Innings against them is just 18.3. The inconsistency is a concern. Dre Russ has found a great form in the tournament, but his inconsistency is always a huge factor. He is a risky pick for the day.

Unhailed: They are players one needs to back as they will eat up fewer credit points but give consistent returns.

Sam Billings: In IPL 2022, the Englishman has scored 63 runs in 3 innings till now. His average for the tournament is 21, meaning he is still currently not proven himself as someone who will give a considerable return but can give one of those little advantageous points.

Stealthy Warriors: These players are not so common names in the IPL. Hence picking them might give one an advantage over their competitors.

Tilak Varma: Tilak Varma has been a new find of MI in IPL 2022. He has already impressed everybody with his batting exploits in the tournament. In the 48 deliveries he has faced in the tournament, he has scored 83 runs. Varma is scoring at a strike rate of 172.91 in the tournament. With the kind of form he is in, it is a given that he will give good returns on most days.

Imposters: Players who are currently not at their best and are expected to give negative points.

Kieron Pollard: In the 15th edition of IPL, Pollard has faced 30 deliveries and has scored 25 runs in them. With a strike rate of 83.33 in the tournament, Pollard is just looking like a shadow of himself.

If one wants to avoid negative points, one should stay away from him.

Nitish Rana: In IPL 2022, he has scored 31 runs in total from 24 deliveries. His strike rate is 129.16, and his RPI is just 10.33. Rana is looking out of touch and will negatively affect the team he will be a part of.
