Ishan Kishan: The INR 15.25 cr spent is paying a huge dividend for Mumbai. The little southpaw has looked in fine touch in the two matches in IPL 2022, and it seems like Kishan will be the most crucial piece in MI’s batting puzzle moving forward.

Jasprit Bumrah: When all other bowlers from his team were being thrashed apart in the last match, it was Bumrah who was only looking potent. He bowled four overs, picked up 3 wickets, and just conceded 17 runs. After a pretty ordinary first match in the tournament, Bumrah’s form is back. The type of form he has hit makes him a must-pick for the day.

Shilly Shally: These are players whose forms keep fluctuating; hence expecting good returns from them every day can be risky.

Rohit Sharma: Rohit Sharma is arguably the best white-ball player in the world at the moment. His form in the tournament is blowing hot and cold. The fans will hope that he soon capitalizes on his starts and makes it big.

Sam Billings: In IPL 2022, the Englishman has scored 63 runs in 3 innings till now. His average for the tournament is 21, meaning he is still currently not proven himself as someone who will give a considerable return but can give one of those little advantageous points.

Stealthy Warriors: These players are not so common names in the IPL. Hence picking them might give one an advantage over their competitors.

Tilak Varma: Tilak Varma has been a new find of MI in IPL 2022. He has already impressed everybody with his batting exploits in the tournament. In the 48 deliveries he has faced in the tournament, he has scored 83 runs. Varma is scoring at a strike rate of 172.91 in the tournament. With the kind of form he is in, it is a given that he will give good returns on most days.

Imposters: Players who are currently not at their best and are expected to give negative points. 

Kieron Pollard: In the 15th edition of IPL, Pollard has faced 30 deliveries and has scored 25 runs in them. With a strike rate of 83.33 in the tournament, Pollard is just looking like a shadow of himself. 

If one wants to avoid negative points, one should stay away from him.

Nitish Rana: In IPL 2022, he has scored 31 runs in total from 24 deliveries. His strike rate is 129.16, and his RPI is just 10.33. Rana is looking out of touch and will negatively affect the team he will be a part of.
