IPL 2022 | Hardik Pandya joined league of players to feature in 100 IPL matches

Indian maestro all-rounder Hardik Pandya has joined an elite list of players who have played 100 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Saturday (April 30). 

Pandya’s feat was accomplished during the 43rd match of the IPL 2022Gujarat Titans (GT), on Saturday in the battle against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

Also represented Mumbai Indians in the cash-rich league, the GT Captain has won four IPL titles with the team between 2015 and 2021. In 2022, he was released by Mumbai Indians (MI) and picked up by Gujarat Titans for a whooping INR 15 crore and chosen as the captain.

A total of 1,781 runs with seven half-centuries has been scored by the GT all-rounder. While with the ball, he has also taken 46 wickets at an average of 31.59 and an average of 8.90 runs.

The Indian maestro has been in red-hot in this edition of the Indian extravaganza. Currently, Pandya is third in the race for the Orange Cap. Despite failing with the bat, he has chipped in with 308 runs for GT at an impressive rates of 51.33 and 135.68.  

After beating the Royal Challengers in a see-saw battle, the Titans have scalped 16 points to move a step forward to seal a playoff spot in their maiden IPL season.
