  • Ipl 2022 Covers Are Off Rcb Vs Lsg Re Scheduled To Start At 810 Pm

IPL 2022 | Covers are off, RCB vs LSG re-scheduled to start at 8:10 PM

We have some troubling news from the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, as the slight drizzle has evolved into heavy rainfall, forcing the ground staff to bring out the covers for the entire ground.

The toss has been delayed for the Eliminator as Royal Challenger Bangalore is expected to lock horns against the Lucknow Super Giants to move one step ahead in the quest for their maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) title.

The BCCI has already mentioned in their previous statements that the games will take place without any over deductions until 09:40 PM.

If the game starts at 11:50 PM, we could see a five overs contest between the two sides. However, severe rainfall tonight can force the committee to decide the result based on a super over.

If the rain continues to hamper the game, the results will be announced based on the league standings, seeing LSG directly qualify for the second qualifiers as they finished third on the points table, just a spot above RCB.

We hope that the clouds part ways and we enjoy a thrilling game of cricket between the two sides. Though based on the latest weather reports coming from Kolkata, we could witness rain hampering the game.

The covers are off here at the Eden Gardens, and we should have the toss around 7:45 PM, which means we will have a game without any deduction in the overs.
