'I Have No Answer...' Sanju Samson's Savage Reply After A Humiliating Loss Against RCB

The 60th match of IPL 2023 between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was a big game for both the sides and at the end of it, RCB came out of it with flying colours. RR have been absolutely demolished by 112 runs and were bundled out for just 59 runs.

Talking after the match, Sanju Samson spilled out some strong words. He said that their top 3 have been scoring runs and they play aggressive cricket. However, things didn't work out in this game. He added that they had a plan to go hard in the Powerplay and it was a gettable total but they did not bat well.

"Yes, I think our batting top 3 were scoring runs. We go hard at early and did not come off today. We have to think about this. We had to go hard in the powerplay. That was the plan. But it did not work out well and we lost it badly. It was a good score. But we needed to bat well. We just did not do that,"

When asked what went wrong for them in the game, Sanju came out with a cheeky reply and said that he doesn't have any answer to that question.  He added that they need to take a day off and come back strong in Dharamshala. Sanju also mentioned that one can think about this performance in different ways but they need to take responsibility as a group and come back stronger.

"That's a great question. Where did we go wrong and I have no answer to it at this stage. We all know things can change in IPL.You never know. We will have to be strong and take one day off and then come back strong in Dharamshala. But let's see how things go. You can think about it in different ways. But these things happen. We have to take the responsibility as a whole and come back stronger. A disappointing result."   

Rajasthan Royals (RR) will now take on Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their last league game on 19th of May at Dharamshala.
