Starting the 'The Drive Within' campaign, Hyundai Motor India Limited signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with four stalwarts of Indian cricket namely Shafali Verma, Smriti Mandhana, Taniya Bhatia and Jemimah Rodrigues. The cricketers involved in the deal attended the event yesterday.
Rewarding the women cricketers for their significant contribution in the field of Sports, Hyundai Motor aims to inspire other sportswomen and celebrate their spirits through this one-year exclusive partnership.
Kim, MD and CEO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, Seon Seob expressed his gratitude towards the women cricketers and commented on the partnership. “We are glad to announce an association with truly inspiring players in Indian women’s cricket. The South Korean carmaker will be utilizing films to celebrate the historic triumphs of the four women cricketers in the campaign.
While Smriti Mandhana is currently vice-captaining the women's team, Shafali Verma has amazed everyone through her prolific performance in the last few years. Taniya Bhatia is a bright young prospect and Jemimah Rodrigues is one of the three Indian women cricketers in the top 15 T20I batters.
