Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali and Faheem Ashraf rejoin the Pakistan squad

Pakistan's Test squad has got a fillip after their three core players Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf and Haris Rauf have rejoined the squad after completing the three-day mandatory isolation, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared on Saturday.


Pacer Haris Rauf had tested positive for Covid-19 in the Rapid Antigen Test after the completion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Now he is back in the Pakistan Test squad after ending the isolation period and testing negative for Covid-19.


Naseem Shah, who was initially picked in the reserves replaced Haris Rauf in the first Test match at Rawalpindi.


Faheem Ashraf and Hasan Ali have also rejoined the Pakistan squad after recovering from injuries that they suffered in PSL. The duo had suffered injuries while playing for their respective teams in PSL 2022. The talented duo of Iftikhar Ahmad and Mohammad Wasim Jr were picked as replacements.


The first Test match is off and running in Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi with hosts dominant over tourists.
