England and Wales Cricket Board, on Friday, announced the men's squads for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against South Africa.
The Jos Buttler-led unit will lock horns with the visiting Proteas in three 50-over games and three Twenty20 Internationals between July 19-31.
The selection panel has named a 15-man squad for the 50-over rubber, which will be a part of the ongoing ODI Super League.
Durham seamer Matthew Potts has earned a maiden ODI call-up following impressive performances in the Test summer against New Zealand and India.
Leg-spinner Adil Rashid also returns to the squad after missing out on the Indian series. Young batter Harry Brook, who is a part of the ODI squad against India, has been overlooked.

Meanwhile, the selectors have decided to rest red-ball skipper Ben Stokes from the T20I series as part of their workload management program.

Stokes did not feature in the recent T20I series against India and he is also scheduled to miss the Hundred competition this year.
On the other hand, Jonny Bairstow, who also did not feature in the India T20I series, returns to the English T20I lineup.

England will take on South Africa in three one-dayers between July 19-24 at Chester-le-Street, Manchester and Leeds respectively.
The T20I rubber will take place at Bristol, Cardiff and Southampton on July 27, 28 & 31 respectively.
