Cricket Australia Mocks Team India After 46-All Out Vs New Zealand In Bengaluru Test

Few would have expected that the Indian team would surrender against the Kiwis in their own backyard, but that's exactly what happened as the Rohit Sharma led side produced a disasterclass and faltered against a rampant New Zealand attack.
On a cloudy morning in Bengaluru, Rohit Sharma elected to bat first after winning the toss and it was perhaps his biggest mistake as the side crumbled under pressure. Rohit, himself departed for a low score and it was followed by a disastrous batting performance as five batters scored ducks and the highest score of the innings was 20, by Rishabh Pant.
None of the batters looked comfortable as the Indian batters looked toothless and surrendered in front of Matt Henry, who picked up a 5-wicket haul.
This was India's third lowest total in Test history and it was a timely reminder of their horrendous 36-all out Vs Australia in Adelaide 2020. Cricket Australia didn't miss out on a chance to mock India and reminded the Indian team of that performance, which still continues to haunt all the fans.
“Is ‘All Out 46’ the new ‘All Out 36’?” read a post from CA along with the video of India wickets when they were dismissed for 36.
New Zealand dominate Indian bowlers with the bat
On the same strip, New Zealand applied the basics as they dominated the Indian bowlers with ease. Fair to say that the surface had eased out when the Kiwis came out to bat and Devon Conway took full advantage of it.
He was the chief aggressor and never allowed the Indian bowlers, especially the spinners to settle in. He quickly raced away to his fifty and at the moment is getting closer to the three-figure mark.
New Zealand have just lost two wickets, and are well placed at 143/2.
