BCCI enters Guinness Book of World Record for creating the largest Jersey

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) entered the Guinness book of world records on Sunday night by creating the largest white jersey.

The jersey had 15 years of IPL embossed on it as well as the logos of each of the ten franchises (participated this year) and the crest of BCCI and the IPL on it.

The honour was accepted by BCCI president Sourav Ganguly and IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel during a blockbuster closing ceremony ahead of the final in front of a packed Narendra Modi Stadium prior to the final.

The final of the ongoing season of the IPL is being taken place between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans.

In the ongoing cracker of a finale, Rajasthan's skipper Sanju Samson has won the toss and has opted to bat first.

The Royals batted first in their previous meeting against Gujarat in the first Qualifier but eventually came unstuck in the end thanks to a finishing masterclass from David Miller.

Gujarat has scripted many heists this season while chasing and they'd once again be backing the middle-order quartet of Hardik-Miller-Rashid-Tewatia to script yet another historic moment.

But, before that, they will have to restrict the in-form Jos Buttler in order to reduce the Royals to a sizeable total.

Buttler found form during the second half of his innings against Gujarat, and he picked that up during the 2nd Qualifier, where he smashed a record-equalling fourth ton of the season.

Rajasthan has been heavily reliant on Buttler this season, but they will hope that Samson and co rise to the occasion and give their bowlers enough runs in the bank for an all-out attack.
