The New Zealand team was able to put one behind Bangladesh which is a rare phenomenon considering how badly they lost the first two games and how badly their neighbours Australia were routed early on. However, now that the Tom Latham led side have won a match to keep the series alive, it is obvious that they know the recipe of a win now, which is to put Bangladesh under pressure by putting runs on the board.
The Bangladeshi team would look to now make amendments from their horror show with the bat in the last match where they folded for only 76, their second-lowest T20I total ever. Not a single batter was able to settle down and plan the chase of only 129 runs. All the tsar batters including the likes of Shakib Al Hasan, Liton Das and skipper Mahmudullah literally gave their wickets away.
This match is also important for the fact that Finn Allen would be back for New Zealand and with him at the top, the Blackcaps would be feeling confident to go a bit more further with their scoring.
Bangladesh though are playing with the best team possible and hence the best they can do is to bring in Soumya Sarkara in place of Mohammad Naim who has failed in the first three games and Shoriful Islam in place of Mohammad Saifuddin to give Mustafizur Rahman an able fast bowling partner.

There is nothing to guess about the Dhaka wicket. It is going to be low and slow and it would be hard to score, that’s for sure. If the skipper wins the toss, he would definitely look to bat first and put as many runs as possible.
With 69% humidity and temperatures ranging in the lower thirties, it is going to be as hot a day as it is in September in that part of the world. There are however chances of rain as well with precipitation percentage as much as 37%.
