MI Cape Town are all set to take on the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the first match of SA20 2025. This match will be played at St. George's Park in Gqeberha, South Africa, on January 9 at 9:00 PM IST.

MI Cape Town will be keen to improve their performances from the last two seasons. Notably, they finished at the bottom of the table on both occasions, a significant anomaly from the consistent performances shown by their sister franchise, Mumbai Indians, in the IPL.
