England, the defending champions, will begin their journey at T20 World Cup 2024 when they take on Scotland on Tuesday (June 4) in Match 6 of the ongoing edition at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown. The Jos Buttler-led side have a great chance to kick things off on a winning note, even though they were defeated by their neighbours once in 2018.

First things first. England look like a very settled side this time around, particularly because of the return of Jofra Archer. The English speedster was out of action for a while, but his terrific comeback in the recent T20I series greatly boosted them.

To bring nightmare to the opposition even more, Phil Salt has also returned to the mix. Salt was in stellar form for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2024, and that helped him to get the well-deserved recall from the national set-up.
