The stage is set for the 37th match of IPL 2024 where Punjab Kings will take on Gujarat Titans at Mullanpur. Both teams are languishing at the lower half of the points table, and would be itching to grab those two crucial points in this game.

Talking about Gujarat Titans, they have not been able to notch up consistent wins this season, like they did under the leadership of Hardik Pandya in the last couple of seasons. Gill has done decently with the bat and as a leader too, but it is high time they get their act together and take that upward flight on the points table.

The GT skipper has scored some quality knocks this season, but has not been able to deliver with same consistency of 2023. However, he has still scored 263 runs in 7 innings with a strike rate of over 150 and average of almost 44.

So, Gill is still in decent form, and with every game important for GT from hereon, we can expect Gill to come out with more intent and determination, and he might just go big against PBKS.

David Miller

The South African has played only four games for GT this season as an untimely injury ruled him out for three games. He made his comeback though in the last game against DC, and after the failure in that match, all eyes would be on the southpaw to step up in this crucial encounter.

Miller played a handy unbeaten knock of 44 too, before he got injured, and with PBKS not boasting of any spinner who can take the ball away from him, Miller has favourable match-up on his side. 

Rashid Khan

The Afghan star is a genuine match-winner and can run through the batting line-ups when he is on song. PBKS have a volatile batting line-up and if Rashid gets it right, he might prove too hot to handle for the home team. 

Also, against Punjab, Rashid Khan has 23 wickets in 14 matches, and with this being a crucial encounter, we can expect Rashid to deliver the goods. He is a handy batter too, and overall can be the potential match-winner for GT at Mullanpur.
