The 47th match of IPL 2024 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals saw a good bowling performance from KKR bowlers as they restricted Rishabh Pant and co. to 153 after DC decided to bat first. 

However, DC were 111-8 at one point in time, and could have been reduced to much lesser score, but Kuldeep Yadav scored an unbeaten 35 which included and six and a four off Mitchell Starc.

The six Kuldeep hit against Starc was especially painful for the KKR camp. It was a short delivery angling into middle and leg and Kuldeep Yadav pulled it. He could have been caught at deep square leg but Harshit Rana dropped the catch and the ball deflected over the fence for a six.

Starc naturally was frustrated and gave away a look of disbelief with a sarcastic smile and Gautam Gambhir sitting in the dugout had quite a disturbed look on his face.

Eventually DC managed to cross 150 and got something to defend after their star batters failed miserably against a disciplined bowling performance from KKR bowlers. Varun Chakaravarthy was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets and KKR would be looking to finish off the chase quickly and grab those two crucial points.
