CSK vs KKR: Jadeja hits century of catches in IPL

With this feat, Ravindra Jadeja now walks shoulder to shoulder with cricketing giants such as Virat Kohli (110 catches), Suresh Raina (109), Kieron Pollard (103), and Rohit Sharma (100), in the listof players with the most catches in IPL history.

Ravindra Jadeja’s 100th catch moment arrived in the final over of KKR's innings when the all-rounder, positioned at deep mid-wicket, showcased his impeccable fielding skills by latching onto a misfired shot from KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer off Mustafizur Rahman's bowling.

This spectacular catch, marking his 100th, was the cherry on top of an earlier fielding marvel where he secured his 99th catch, sending Phil Salt back to the pavilion off Tushar Deshpande's delivery.

However, Jadeja's contributions weren't confined to fielding alone. The dynamic all-rounder also spun a web around the KKR batsmen with his mesmerizing bowling, capturing the limelight and leaving the opposition in disarray.

With figures of 3/18, Jadeja was instrumental in dismantling KKR's batting lineup, claiming the scalps of key players such as Sunil Narine, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, and Venkatesh Iyer.

His stunning performance played a crucial role in restricting KKR to a paltry total of 137/9 on a pitch that proved to be a tough nut to crack.

As the Chennai Super Kings gear up for the chase, they will aim to turn the tide and return to the winning ways after two consecutive defeats.
