Hasaranga, a former Royal Challengers Bangalore star, has been a formidable force in the IPL. With 26 matches under his belt, he has an impressive haul of 35 wickets at an average of 21.37 and an economy rate of 8.13. His skills were particularly evident in IPL 2022, where he claimed 26 wickets in 16 matches. His outstanding performance put him in the running for the coveted purple cap, though he eventually conceded it to Yuzvendra Chahal.
Beyond his bowling exploits, Hasaranga has also demonstrated remarkable all-round capabilities. His recent performances in the Lankan Premier League are proof to this, where he emerged as both the top scorer and leading wicket-taker.
