Rizwan first to score 300-plus runs in a bilateral series

Pakistan’s ongoing contests against England is the first instance of a seven-match T20I competition between member nations.

Rizwan has piled up 315 runs in the five matches so far, with four half-centuries to his name. He has now become the first player in history to aggregate over 300 runs in a bilateral series, and also the first batsman to notch up four fifty-plus scores.

The wicketkeeper went past Quinton de Kock’s record of 255 runs during South Africa’s 2021 series against West Indies. The left-hander went past the 50-run mark on three occasions during the same.
