India's death over bowling has looked toothless in the past few series, which was on display in their first T20I loss against Australia at Mohali. Both Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Harshal Patel were taken to the cleaners, mainly by Matthew Wade, who scored a 21-ball 45, while chasing 208.

All-rounder Hardik Pandya, acting as India's fifth/sixth bowling option nowadays, spoke about the Indian bowling attack missing someone like Jasprit Bumrah, who is coming back from an injury.

Surprisingly Bumrah sat out the first T20I, with Umesh Yadav being drafted into the Indian T20 side after three years.

"Jasprit not being there obviously makes a big difference. He is coming back after an injury, it is important for him to get enough time to kind of come back and maybe not put a lot of pressure on himself,"

Pandya, further added that fans need to show patience and put trust into the squad, which has disappointed them recently.

"We all know what he brings to the table and how important he is for us. There will be concerns here and there (about bowling) which is fine. We got to trust our boys. These are the best 15 in the country and that is why they are there in the squad,"

Rohit, however, confirmed that Bumrah will feature in the playing XI at Nagpur in the second T20I on Friday.
