Zimbabwe will take on Bangladesh in a 3 match ODI series

With the T20I series levelled after two matches, the decider was asserted by the Zimbabwean team by ten runs. A pretty even series was contested by the teams finding their groove in world cricket.

Zimbabwe, who were whitewashed in their previous ODI series against Afghanistan, will look to continue their T20 form in the upcoming series against Bangladesh. The onus will be on the skipper Craig Ervine and Sikandar Raza to perform their duties well.

After a magnificent show against West Indies last month, the Bangla Tigers will now have a job in their hands to carry on with the momentum. The return of Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim will boost their chances. 

Spotlight: Ryan Burl

Scoring 34 in an over against Nasum Ahmed in the final match of the preceding T20I series, Ryan Burl finally gave a glimpse of his potential.

His credentials don't showcase his talent, but the 28-year-old first burst into the scene, making his debut in the 2012 U-19 World Cup and later playing in the 2014 edition of the tournament as well. 

Burl's career was marred by injuries where his dislocated shoulder kept him out of action for a long time. But the left-hander had still managed to make a comeback every time he was out of contention.

Hard hitter of the ball, he might be someone to watch out for in future, making him an exciting prospect. Overly talented Burl, an avid hockey, squash and athletics fan, even played these sports at the junior level for Zimbabwe.
