Explosion at Shpageeza Premier League, Kabul 

The local premier league being held by Afghanistan Cricket Board has been struck with a tragedy. Spectators were left in distress after an explosion was witnessed in the stands during the match between Pamir Zalmi and Band-e-Amir Dragons. 
The unfortunate event occurred during the mid-innings break of the 22nd match of the league.

Crowds broke out in panic after an explosion was heard followed by a heavy smoke cloud. The public was quickly evacuated and the match took a long halt. 

Reasons for the explosion are unknown and no casualties have been reported. Ironically, despite the unfortunate happenings the match has been resumed for the second innings.
