'Similar Situation To Ones...': Pooran 'Shockingly' Compares LSG Teammates to WI Team

Nicholas Pooran delivered a sensational performance against the Mumbai Indians (MI), crafting one of the most remarkable innings in recent memory with 75 runs off just 29 balls. 

In contrast, the rest of the Lucknow Super Giants struggled to keep pace, accumulating 139 runs in 91 deliveries.

Nicholas Pooran didn't hold back in his criticism of his LSG teammates after the innings. He suggested that he had to take on the Mumbai bowlers single-handedly, much like he often does for the West Indies team. 

Pooran's 'Shocking' comparision

This comparison highlighted his frustration with the lack of support from his LSG teammates during the match.

" Similar situation to ones I’ve been in over the years. I’ve been training a lot and practicing hitting a lot of sixes. Blessed that I’m talented in that. I always enjoy myself and want to be the best version of myself. Need to understand where the game is going and how everyone else is playing as well"-Pooran said after the first innings.

Pooran entered the crease for LSG when the team was struggling at 69-3 in 9.3 overs. He then unleashed a furious onslaught, driving the score to 178-3 before being dismissed in the 17th over. 

However, after Pooran's departure, LSG faltered, losing quick wickets and stumbling to 178-6. Frustrated by this collapse, Pooran couldn't help but draw parallels between the team's performance and that of the West Indies, where individual brilliance often outshines collective effort of the team.
