Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) secured a significant victory against the Gujarat Titans (GT), successfully chasing down a target of 201 runs in just 16 overs. 

Will Jacks, batted at number 3, played a remarkable innings, scoring a century off just 41 balls. When RCB needed just one run to win, Jacks was on 94 off 40 balls. 

He sealed his century with a six off the last ball of Rashid Khan's over, sparking wild  pumped up celebrations from Virat Kohli and the RCB team.

Jacks praises Kohli

Post-game, Will Jacks praised Virat Kohli and acknowledged his significant influence in the match. Jacks views his IPL experience batting alongside the legendary Kohli as invaluable cricket lessons.

 "It's amazing, he's a legend of the game and is someone everyone looks up to. To spend some time in the middle is a great feeling a huge learning curve. When I go away from the IPL, I'll learn so much from batting with him and playing with him. I'll try to take it all on board"-Will Jacks said post game.

Jacks hammers Rashid Khan to reach his hundred

Earlier, Rashid Khan faced a battering from Will Jacks. In the final over bowled by Rashid, Jacks managed to score 28 runs off just 5 balls, including 4 sixes and a four. 

At one point, Jacks was at 17 runs from 17 balls. However, in the following 24 balls, he scored 83 runs, ultimately aiding RCB in securing their third win in IPL 2024.
