In a thrilling encounter between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the iconic Eden Gardens, Mitchell Starc showcased his bowling prowess by dismissing the formidable Jake Fraser-McGurk. McGurk, who had been in sublime form, could only manage a brisk 12 off 7 deliveries before falling victim to Starc's guile.

Starc's delivery, a full-length ball angling into the stumps, proved to be Fraser-McGurk's undoing. Attempting to execute a daring shot over deep square leg, Fraser-McGurk failed to connect cleanly, resulting in a catch pouched expertly by Venkatesh Iyer stationed at the boundary.

The left-arm quick's change of angle, bowling from around the wicket, added to the difficulty for the batsman, who found himself deceived by the subtle variation. Despite Fraser-McGurk's attempt to clear his front leg and dispatch the ball over the ropes, he could only manage to send it towards the awaiting hands of Iyer.

Starc's ability to strike at crucial junctures underscores his importance to the KKR bowling lineup, adding pressure on the opposition and swinging the momentum in his team's favor.
