All eyes were on Saika Ishaque, one of the debutants for India in the T20I series opener against England, on Wednesday (December 6) at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. However, the 28-year-old left-arm spinner made little impact in her first three overs, having conceded 33 runs without any success.

After that, Ishaque showed what she was capable of by getting the prized wicket of Danni Wyatt. In the process, she got off the mark in the international cricket.

Having scored 75 off 47 balls, Wyatt was on full flow and on a mission to cross a memorable three-digit score. When she came to play the first ball of the 16th over, she went down the track in an attempt to loft it big. However, the English opener was beaten by the length of the delivery, resulting in her missing the ball altogether.

Richa Ghosh made no mistake, as she took some time before breaking the stumps.

While the Women in Blue were not too pleased at that point after the start they got, they did not miss out on congratulating Ishaque after easily the best moment of her life. She finished well, and claimed figures of 1/38 off her four overs.

As of now, England are roaring, reaching 193/5 after 19.4 overs.
