During a recent IPL 2024 season match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), MS Dhoni was seen expressing frustration towards an IPL cameraman amidst a dominating performance by his team's batters Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shivam Dube against LSG.
For a highly anticipated matchup of the IPL 2024 season's payback week, CSK hosted LSG at Chepauk earlier today. KL Rahul invited Ruturaj's side to bat first, and the CSK captain returned to his opening role to ensure a solid start in the powerplay.
After a couple of wickets in the middle, Shivam Dube joined Ruturaj Gaikwad to unleash havoc upon LSG bowlers.
While Gaikwad raced to his season maiden century, Dube also slammed a quick fifty to form up a 100-run partnership.
Meanwhile, in an interesting moment during the game, an IPL cameraman panned the camera lenses to CSK fan favourite MS Dhoni, who was waiting for his turn whilst watching Dube and Gaikwad's brilliant show in the middle.
However, Dhoni fumed at the cameraman and made angry gestures as soon as his visuals were displayed on the big screens.
While the specific details behind Dhoni's aggression are yet unknown, the cameraman simply wanted to treat the fans with the cult leader's snap shots.
Having said that, MS Dhoni eventually walked out in the middle with just two balls left in the first innings and contributed with a boundary off the final ball to finish things on a high for CSK.
LSG is left with 211 runs to chase in what promises to be an enthralling encounter between the two formidable sides.
