Avesh Khan is one of the important assets for Rajasthan Royals and they needed him to deliver after scoring just 144 while batting first against Punjab Kings at Guwahati. Avesh Khan started off brilliantly as well with two big wickets of Rossouw and Shashank Singh. 

However, in the penultimate over when Punjab Kings needed 15 off 12 balls, he could not find his length and ended up giving away all the runs in a matter of just five deliveries.

Avesh Khan started off the 19th over well and gave away just a single in the first over. The second ball though was pumped away over deep mid-wicket with disdain by PBKS skipper Sam Curran. The fourth ball was then hammered over long on for a biggie by Ashutosh Sharma and it was all done and dusted by then. 

The victory came on the fifth delivery with a single to fine leg and Rajasthan Royals were handed their fourth consecutive loss of the season. They have still qualified for the playoffs though, but their hopes of top-2 are in trouble now with only one final game to go against KKR.
